** This event is located within Chinatown, One of Vancouver's oldest neighborhoods, it is home to important cultural heritage assets and many community organizations with deep historical roots in Vancouver**
This event takes place on the shared, unceded, ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
These nations are hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh sníchim speaking peoples. These languages are part of the Salish Language family, which dates back many millennia.***This event will in part serve as a Fundraiser forVBL: Vancouver Black Library, a gathering space for Resources and Work for and by BIPOC
